Major Update for Fedora Commons Web Site
The main feature of the improved web site is the restructured navigation which is designed to help you find the most important information quickly and easily. The main navigation bar now contains tabs for the home page and four folders.
The About folder contains documents and links to information about the people and business side of Fedora Commons. Here you will find such things as software copyrights, software licenses, marketing materials and the like.
The new Software folder is the staging area for information and downloads of the various software packages supported by Fedora Commons.
The Documentation folder is also new. It is designed to help you jump quickly to the latest documentation in the wiki pages.
Finally, the Community folder has been expanded and reorganized. The new Announcements folder contains announcements of events and news of interest to the Fedora Repository community. The Developers section is the jump off point for interacting with the Fedora developer community. Our old Use Cases section has re-emerged as Examples and we are actively seeking new submissions from the user community.
Supported Browsers
The new web site is best viewed with Firefox 3.x, IE 7, Safari 4.x and Opera 9.6. IE 6 is also supported. There are well-known issues with interpretation of CSS rules in Safari 3.x, so this platform is not optimal for viewing this web site. IE 8 and Google Chrome are not currently supported.
